| Located just outside St. Cuthbert's shrine is this memorial to Charles Stewart, 6th Marquess of Londonderry (1852 - 1915) and his wife Theresa (1856 - 1919). The Londonderrys are integral with the history of County Durham. What struck me with this memorial was its similarity in pose to an Elizabethan memorial in York Minster. | ||
