The grave of Grace Cook, the mother of Captain James Cook, who died 18th February 1765 aged 63 years. The grave is in All Saints' Churchyard (along with other Cook relatives). Captain James Cook who went to school in Great Ayton was killed in Hawaii on 14th December 1779.
