You don't need a map to follow the route.
From the RSPB Reserve at Saltholme cross the A1046 Seaton Carew Road to find the England Coat Path footpath.
This path runs adjacent to the A1046 but is protected from the road.
Follow the England Coast Path until you come to Greatham Creek.
Here there are two viewing platforms, the Southerly one overlooks both the creek and Coatham marshes.
The other platform is by the Greatham Creek Bridge .
From the bridge take the footpath beside the creek to where there is a hide where the creek meets the sea.
Return to the Saltholme Reserve.
In the Reserve there is a Visitor Centre (entry free to RSPB members, a car parking fee otherwise).
From the Visitor Centre there are several trails to various hides (Saltholme Pools, Paddys' Pool, Wildlife Watchpoint, Phil Stead Hide etc.)
