Where the colliery buildings once stood in Easington Colliery, the area has been cleared and is now a Nature Park. There is a trail from the car park to the Pit Cage Monument where significant events in the life of the colliery are marked. Information on the colliery and its transformation to a Nature Park, is provided on this website.
