A walk that is easy to navigate and that takes in two
wooded valleys that run North of Helmsley.
After walking up Ash Dale, a visit is made to the village of Carlton.
The route then crosses over via two farms to Beck Dale, down which
the return walk to Helmsley is made.
In Autumn it is possible that a pheasant shoot may take place in either
            of the dales.
