The Cleveland Way starts from Helmsley and ends 110 miles later in Filey. This year sees the 50th Anniversary of the trail. At the start of the trail in Helmsley is this commemoration, the notice (left) of which reads "Happy Birthday Cleveland Way. All best wishes from Helmsley Walled Garden for today and the next fifty years."
