This is what drew us (or me?) and several hundreds of folk to Grosmont / Pickering, - the visit of the loco "City of Wells" to the North York Moors Railway to pull special trains over the week. Over 65 years ago I watched this particular engine heading the "Golden Arrow" boat train as it thundered through Ashford station on its way to Folkestone.
