We had aimed to stop for a picnic lunch at the Falling Foss (see previous photo). But the place was too busy so we moved on, only to find that there were no suitable stopping places. In the end we simply plonked ourselves down on a roadside ditch, and then got bitten to pieces by the insect life that was in the grasses!
