The footpath from Hotbank Farm Eastwards crosses rough pasture which can get very wet and boggy. The farmer has laid a stone track to ease access by farm vehicles. Unfortunately, this stone track is EXTREMELY unpleasant to walk on, giving bad knees and hips quite a shaking. But step onto the boggy pasture and it's not much better!
