The backs of houses in Victoria Street in Shotton Colliery. The interest here is that this is a glimpse of what things looked like in many a County Durham village 50 or so years ago, - the paved alleyway, and the outhouses with doors in which the domestic coal supply would be delivered (as well as housing the outdoor netty).
