| Beside the track from Wynyard to the Hurworth Burn Reservoir is a collection of a dozen or so wind turbines. Today they were all stationary, as there wasn't a breath of wind. But, of course, today was a day when they were needed to generate power with a temperature below freezing. So much for efficiency in generating electricity when it's needed. | ||
