Explorer Map 302, - "Northallerton & Thirsk"
An all-year walk, suitable for any time of the year.
There are no gradients of any significance at all on the walk, and
navigation is very straightforward.
This is therefore a walk whch can be attempted by anybody, and requires
no special skills or experieince.
It helps to make the walk on a fine day, as the scenery is well worth
seeing in good conditions. Although enjoyable in poor weather conditions,
Jervaulx Park and Jervaulx Abbey are seen at their best in good weather.
