The "classic" shot of Saltburn Pier, with the lift from the esplanade at the top down to the pier. However, why I took this photo is because just under a year ago the tidal surge which happened on the East Coast totally wrecked the inside of the building in the photo, and it is closed while they repair it (which will probably take a year or so).
