No route directions, no maps for today's excursion. Because of the weather, we had an "easy day out" in Hartlepool.

In the morning we walked from Fish Sands (near St. Hilda's) along the promenade and then beach to the old Steetly Magnesite works and back again, - about 4 miles.

After a lunch in a burger bar we spent a pleasurable hour or so in the Museum of Hartlepool.
