| A very sad little memorial in Lastingham, just by Camomile Farm. The small tablet in the foreground reads "Remembering With Love Ernest and Annie Parker 26 May 1900. On That Day These Two Very Small Children While Playing on the Bank Top Opposite Tumbled Down Into Deep Water Here and Were Drowned. Committing to the Love of God All Children Tragically Lost." No water there now, but such sadness in such a lovely village. | ||
