We arrived at the Wheelhead Sike car park above the Cow Green reservoir at about 10 a.m. There was barely a breath of wind, the sun was out, and you could see for miles. On the right is the white dome on the top of Great Dun Fell. Cross Fell was clearly visible (out of the photo, on the right). Magic!
