The walk starts from the car park by the North Gare
(NZ53302 28166).
Take the track that crosses the golf course (CAUTION) towards the
North Gare itself. Take a track through the dunes onto the beach.
Walk along the beach, Southwards, to the spit of land at its far end.
Walk along this spit in a Westwards direction and then return along
the beach to the North Gare.
Take a path through the dunes that starts almost at the North Gare
itself, heading Northwards to Seaton Carew. At a suitable point, leave
the dunes for the beach itself.
In Seaton Carew, leave the beach for the promenade.
Walk Northwards along the promenade until you come to the flats by
the harbour in Hartlepool. Here, follow the street signs for Hartlepool
town and Marina.
Retrace your steps to Seaton Carew and then the North Gare.
Return to the car park from the North Gare.
