Explorer Map 300 - Howardian Hills and Malton

Another walk to be enjoyed on days when the weather is fine and the visibility is good, as there are some superb views to be had all along the way.
The footpaths are very easy to follow, as there is a profusion of signposts and waymarks. This is obvioulsy a very popular walking area, - though on the day we walked the route we met no other walkers (apart from a young family enjoying Castle Howard's grounds).
Most of the way follows clear footpaths and tracks, and there is only one gradient of any significance.
