| At Newbiggin Hall Farm there is a collection of old cars and associated "memorabilia". The petrol pump to the left of this one (you can just see the filling nozzle) showed a price of 6/6 per gallon (about 33p). This was the sort of price that applied in 1970. We now pay 15 times more than this, - £5 per gallon. | ||
