Expolorer Map 302, - Northallerton and Thirsk
The walk described below is a relatively straightforward
ramble, using farm tracks and footpaths. Some of the ground was quite
wet and muddy at the time of walking the route.
The route takes you from Bedale to Snape, where the village itself is
worth walking around, before returning to Bedale.
There was then sufficient time to wander round Bedale itself, exploring
the several historic buildings, - especially St. Gregory's Church.
