(Overlay made with Version 4 of Memory Map)
Start from osmotherley village centre, SE4567097341.
Follow the waymarked Cleveland Way East to where it meets a Green Lane
at SE4646897020.
Follow the Green Lane in a Northerly direction into the Forestry plantation,
where there is a ruined farm house on your right. (SE4675498215).
Follow the path left at this point to the ruin of Cote Garth, then head
North to the Cod Beck Reservoir. Walk Northwards along the East Bank
of the Reservoir.
Join the Lyke Wake Walk / Cleveland Way footpath at NZ4718200095, and
follow the Cleveland Way Westwards back into another Forestry plantation.
Where it leaves this plantation turn sharp right at SE4538598573 to
take the Forestry track down into Ingleby Arncliffe.
There is a slight navigational problem a few hundred yards along, where
the apparent "proper" track goes straight ahead, but the correct
(better surface) track is on your left and apparently going in the wrong
direction. There used to be a sign post here, but it has disappeared.
Some care needed.
Ingleby Arncliffe Church is at NZ4524800281. Either continue
into Ingleby Arncliffe village, or retrace your steps to the Cleveland
Way and follow this track back into Osmotherley.
