Outdoor Leisure Map No 31, - North Pennines, Teesdale and Weardale
Hamsterley Forest is an excellent
choice for walking when the weather isn't too good, - as well as when
it is excellent! On this walk, there was a high wind, and the Forest
provided some refuge from the worst effects of this.
