Durham County Council organise regular walks in the County, and Alan was particularly
interested to give one of these walks a try. The "Medium Grade" walk
starting from Eggleston in Teesdale was selected for the trial. At the start,
there were 53 people waiting to be marshalled along the route!! This is the first
head-counting stop........
