| Queen Victoria's Saloon car, - 1869. When the Queen travelled by rail, she liked to do so incomfort. The carriage was the height of opulent luxury and included electric lighting. But the Queen did not like using the on-board toilet, and insisted on stopping the train at stations to use the toilet as well as eat meals! | ||
