Outdoor Leisure Map OL26, - North York Moors (Western Area)

This walk is straightforward, but can be simplified.
After setting out from the parking area at Square Corner, a Forestry tackthrough Silton Forest is followed. A small detour is then made over famland footpaths, though this can be omitted if needed.
The rest of the route is very starightforward, with the half-way point being the Church of St. Mary Magdalene at Over Silton.
The rturn to Square Corner is basically using the Forestry track taken on the outward leg of the walk.

Some new mapping software is now available which you may want to try, - QUO mapping. You can download the software for free from the link below, complete with demonstration maps. Having installed QUO, you can import and export Memory Map overlays. Thus YOU DON'T NEED Memory Map to use any of the overlays provided on the Grey Panthers web site, - just use QUO!!
