On the outward leg of todays' walk we kept to the beach between Saltburn and Redcar. On the return leg we used the path above the beach, indicated as being part of the "English Coast Path". Ahead in this view is Cliff House in Marske which was the holiday residence of the Pease family in the 19th Century but is now a retirement home. (That Cliff gets everywhere, doesn't he?!!)
