The Grey Panthers

After a steep drop down into Flassendale, the track through the dale was easy going. A couple of hours later the pheasant shooters were out in force, and the noise of the guns was as though a war was in progress. We would NOT have been welcome if we had arrived on the scene in the afternoon.
