| One of the locomotives on display in the Great Hall is a Bulleid "Austerity" locomotive, - locos built during the Second World War for utility purposes. The photo of engine No 33001 is displayed beside the real thing. As a young lad, this particular locomotive is one which I have ticked off in my Ian Allen train spotter's book as having actually seen (ca. 1953)! | ||
