| This bench is a War Memorial found on High Lane between Cawthorne and Cropton. It commemorates Pilot Officer James S Cameron of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, killed in Italy on 18 February 1945. The bench overlooks Keldy Castle, where he lived. Let's hope the metal thieves don't spot this bench, - and others nearby. | ||
