| A view of the Wilton chemical works from Eston Nab. Thirty years ago the chemical plant to the left of the cooling tower was ICI's "flagship" Olefines 6 Ethylene cracker, and was just one of many ICI plants on this site. The cracker is now run by Sabic, and ICI has ceased to exist, - as have many of the chemical plants on the Wilton site. | ||
