| A big surprise (to me) was to see "modern Seaham". Only a few years ago Seaham was a colliery town, with three collieries (Dawdon, Vane Tempest, and Seaham) and a harbour. Now it boasts a shopping mall, - Byron Place, amongst other recent developments. | ||
