Another phenomenal day as regards weather (and scenery!). As we set out from Downholme bridge to Marske, Hutton's Monument could be clearly seen. This is an obelisk erected in memory of Matthew Hutton who died in 1814 aged 35. The site of the monument gave his favourite view and he asked to be buried there.
