| The footpath South of Askrigg, down to the River Ure, crosses meadowland. To protect the meadows, stone flags have been laid for walkers to use (in single file). Unfortunately, the recent wet weather we have had has resulted in the stone flags sinking, so that the footpath has become a flooded ditch. | ||
