The Grey Panthers

A rather remarkable sight in Low Hawsker. This is the Hawsker Cross, incongruously located in somebody's vegetable patch (notice the watering can and buckets). But the cross is thought to be about 1000 years old, and is decorated with Viking designs. Obviously, history is matter-of-fact in this neck of the woods.
