The old Miners Institute in Boosbeck. The clock was erected at the end of the First World War as a memorial to those who fell. The Memorial Plaque can be seen above the red poppy wreath. Although the Memorial and Institute are now a very sad sight, just opposite a new Memorial has been built and is about to be unveiled.
