The poignant memorial inside Hawnby Church to the infant Ann
Tankarde, daughter of Sir Henry Tankarde of Arden, who died in her 2nd year
on 28 February 1608. The memorial tablet has a figure of a sleeping baby in
a cradle. Beside her is a lily and a rosebush, and above is a clock with the
hands set between 1 and 2.
