Before an excellent Christmas Lunch at the King's Head at Newton-under-Roseberry we had a brisk walk up Roseberry Topping.
This is a classic hike for the area, and is an excellent way of blowing a few cobwebs out of the system.

Park in the car park just outside the village of Newton-under-Roseberry (NZ5704012847).
Ascend Roseberry Topping by following the footpath up Roseberry Lane, just outside the car park.
