Explorer Maps No OL 26- North York Moors Western Area

The walk starts from Ingleby Arncliffe, or Ingleby Cross, a village that sits between the A19 trunk road and the A172 main road. In this position, most traffic passes by. However, the village is delightful and is an excellent starting point for a walk.

The walk is circular, heading up through Arncliffe Woods to join the Cleveland Way North of Osmotherley. The route continues along the Cleveland Way to close by the village of Stainton, then returns to Ingleby Arncliffe by minor road, farm tracks, and footpaths.
No particular difficulty, but the forestry tracks West of Stainton were extremely muddy.
