The superb view (it certainly would be in fine weather) down
Baldersdale from Balderhead Reservoir. The Youth Hostel can be made out on the
right. The hill is Goldsborough Rigg. And at this end of Blackton Reservoir,
to the left, is Birk Hat Farm where Hannah
Hauxwell lived and farmed.
