The Grey Panthers
The view from Willance's Leap, looking towards Richmond. This memorial, and
a monument (out of sight) commemorate the occasion of Robert Willance's life
being saved by his horse in 1606 when he careered over the cliff in fog whilst
out hunting. The horse was killed, but Willance survived the 600 ft fall even
  though he lost his leg.
