Outdoor Leisure Map No 30, - Yorkshire Dales (Northern &
          Central Areas)
A perfect walk for a Spring day.
Good weather is especially useful. Not only is good weather helpful
for obtaining the view down from the top of Fremington Edge, but poor
visibility can make navigation a bit tricky.
The walk takes you up a long ascent of Fremington Edge to Hurst, and
then a sharp descent from the Edge to Booze and Langthwaite.
The return to Reeth is alongside the Arkle Beck, which in wet weather
          could be somewhat muddy.

The walk starts in the village of Reeth. Park
in the centre of the village.(SE0381699293).
Walk down to Reeth road bridge, and cross. Take the footpath to High Fremington.
At the cottage (SE0460599140), take the track North that leads to the
        road to Fremingtom Edge.
Follow the road up Fremington Edge, across Marrick Moor, North to Hurst
        (SE0457602306).
Here turn West to return to Fremington Edge. Then follow the path to descend
        to Arkengarthdale.
(Note, some care needed with navigation. The footpath leaves the well
defined roadway just before you reach some grouse butts.)
Descend to Storthwaite Hall, and then take the footpath to Booze.
        From Booze descend to Langthwaite.
Our picnic spot was a bench that is hidden from the roadway at NZ0068702523.
From Langthwaite, simply follow the footpath along the Arkle Beck back
        to Reeth.
