Bob heading up into Coldberry Gutter, the remains of a lead mining "hush". To recover the minerals beneath the soil, it was common practice to scour the earth and rocks away by first building a dam and then breaking the dam to release the water. The Coldberry Gutter is one of the largest examples of this technique to be found.
