Circular walk, starting from Eggleston village (between Barnard Castle and Middleton in Teesdale).
The walk takes in a mix of fields (mostly sheep farming), country roads, and country lanes.
Most of the walk is generally flat, but there are a couple of sharpish ascents in rural valleys..
This walk is a pleasant mix of farmland and moorland..

Start Point : Eggleston village centre, NY99942389
Take the road out of the village SE, then the footpath, also SE to East Barnley and High Shipley (NZ014502159)
From High Shipley take the road then footpath NNE to Holdsworth Farm.
Past Holdsworth Farm, take the farm track to meet the road at NZ01972335.
Walk East along the road to the footpath on the right at NZ03092352.
Follow the footpath and road in an easterly direction to East House and East House Cottage.
At East House Cottage head North until you meet a farm road, then head due West until you meet the B6282.
Turn sharp right along the B6282, and follow this until there is a minor road on your left leading to Woolly Hill.
Follow this minor road and then track due West to lead back to Eggleston.
