10 miles.
Outdoor Leisure Map No 31 - North Pennines Teesdale & Weardale

This circular walk takes in the North and South banks of the River Tees between Eggleston and Cotherstone. The route can be shortened, if required, by returning as soon a you reach Cotherstone Bridge.
Most of the walk is through farmland, or along the river banks. In winter-time, this walk will almost certainly be very wet underfoot; slippery by the river banks, and muddy through farmland.
